Crumble Crust Apple Pie

Directions:

Pare apples.Β  Slice into unbaked pie shell.Β  Sprinkle on 1/2 cup sugar mixed with spices and salt.Β  Sift remaining sugar with flour.Β  Cut in butter until crumbly.Β  Sprinkle over apples.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 450` for 15 minutes.

Remove foil and bake at 375` for 35-40 minutes.Β  Bake until apples are tender & crumb crust is brown.
